Partnerships

  • The Asian American Foundation (TAAF): CISC is part of TAAF’s nationwide network of Anti-Hate City Partners. To increase safety and resilience in Seattle and King County, CISC has formed partnerships with three community-based organizations: Filipino Community of Seattle, UTOPIA Washington, and Korean Community Service Center. Together, we want to ensure survivors know they are not alone and can turn to these organizations for support.
  • Coalition Against Hate & Bias: CISC is a partner of the Coalition Against Hate & Bias (Coalition), which is supported by the King County Office of Equity, Racial and Social Justice (OERSJ). The Coalition is a community-led initiative to address hate and bias incidents by strengthening and networking communities who experience racist and bigoted treatment and all forms of oppression.
Data

Hate and bias incidents against Asian Americans and other communities have been on the rise. To provide culturally and linguistically appropriate support for the community, CISC and its Coalition partners are administrators of the Hate and Bias Incident Response Survey to collect data from communities affected by hate and bias. No personal or identifying information is shared with OERSJ or any governing body, nor collected in the administration of the Coalition’s survey.
