The CISC Youth Volunteer Program recently hosted two Career Exploration events to allow teens to explore potential career paths. On October 2, we hosted the first event, CISC Youth Career Day, at our Seattle office, where teens engaged with professionals from Amazon across various industries and academic fields. One enthusiastic participant remarked, “This is the best career day!”. The second event took place on October 11 with a guided tour of Microsoft’s newest campus, where students learned about tech careers and student education programs directly from Microsoft employees.
We are grateful to the volunteer mentors from Amazon and Microsoft, who generously shared their educational and career experiences and offered valuable insights to help guide the teens in deciding their futures.
